Shared Lives South West employs a team of around 40 full and part-time staff.
Our executive management team are
Jane Bell, Chief Executive: Jane is our Chief Executive and has run the organisation since its inception in 2004: she’s where the buck stops! Jane also chairs the South West regional forum which is part of Shared Lives Plus. Jane has a small team who manage events, marketing and communications and publications, including the website. Your initial contact for press enquiries is Dawn Ellis , comms and marketing officer.
Sally Crombie, Head of Operations: Sally manages the day-to-day delivery of all of our services, making sure everyone is safe and that all the shared lives arrangements are working well. Sally is the Registered Manager for our services with CQC .
Dominic Spayne, Head of Business and Finance: Dominic runs our finance and business support services, making sure all the bills are paid on time and that our IT and email systems work properly.
Support for our carers and the people who use our services is provided by our specialist Shared Lives teams who work across different local areas.
We also have a Funding and Benefits team based in our head offices in Kingsteignton: they work with local authorities to arrange the funding for people who use our services. They manage money on behalf of some of the people who use our services and make sure they receive all the right benefits; they also manage respite and short-breaks bookings and payment.
