Funding and Benefits team
Our funding and benefits team support service users and Shared Lives carers around all aspects of welfare benefits and money management. The team supports service users to maximise their income by assisting them to claim all eligible benefits. The team undertakes financial and fairer charging assessments on behalf of our local authority commissioners and ensures that carers get paid the correct amounts. We also offer a money management service to service users who would like or require assistance with managing their benefits, through our role as a corporate appointee.
The team is led by Donna Bounden, funding and benefits manager.
