Required: someone with some knowledge of welfare benefits to support our funding and benefits team in Devon and Torbay

We are: Shared Lives South West, and we offer Shared Lives services to people with a learning disability, mental health needs and older people through our network of approved Shared Lives carers. The funding and benefits team maximises our service users benefits, calculates their Fairer Charging contributions, and provides support with benefits changes, money management, and appointeeship.

 You will: work 30 hours per week (days negotiable) in our office in Kingsteignton, Devon. Knowledge of welfare benefits, an ability to use Word and Excel and a willingness to learn our systems really quickly are all essential. Mainly office based, but travel within Devon will be required.
