Who is Shared Lives for?

Shared Lives services are for adults who have additional support needs. People might need extra support because they:

  • have a learning disability
  • have mental health problems
  • are leaving hospital
  • have needs relating to older age, including dementia
  • have a learning disability and are expecting or have had a baby
  • will soon be making the transition from children’s to adult services
  • have autism, aspergers or related condition.

Or they might need support for another reason – our carers are very flexible so if you’re not sure please contact us to discuss how we can help or click here to find out more about our services.
